 6. Koh Lan

     Lying about 7.5 kilometres off of Pattay by a 45-minute ferry or 15 minutes by speed Boat ride, the Island measures 2 kilometres by 5 kilometres and offers several white sandy beaches,

     This Island offers several white sandy beaches such as notably Hat Ta Waen, Hat Laem Thian and Hat Thong Long while there a bunch of coral reefs on the other side of the island. Visitors can choose either snorkeling or viewing the coral from glass bottom Boats. Contact: TAT Pattay 0 3842 7667, 0 3842 8750, 0 3842 3990 Getting there: A ferry service departs Laem Bali Hai Pier to Ko Lan everyday. Departure time is from 7.00 a.m.- 6.30 p.m., while the arrival trips leave Ko Lan from 6.30 a.m.- 6.00 p.m. It costs 20 baht. The boat will stop at Na Ban Pier. In case of going to other beaches, visitors can rent a boat or a taxi. There also are speed boats for 10 persons are available along Pattaya beach. Visitors can stop at Ta Waen Beach and Thong Lang Beach. The rental fee for the speed boat is 2,500-3,000 baht or depending on the agreement.

7. Khao Phra Tamnak or Khao Phra Bat

     Khao Phra Tamnak or Khao Phra Bat is a mountain that is located between South Pattaya Beach and Chom Thien Beach and since the mountain is not too high, the top of the mountain is used as the location for the peaceful Wat Khao Phra Bat and the Sacred Buddha’s Image as well as Sor.Thor Ror. 5 Navy Radio Station. The monument of Phra Chao Borommawongther Krom Luang Chumpon Khet Udom Sak is also enshrined here. It is built to be a viewpoint of Pattaya which opens up a view of all of Mueang Pattaya as well as the distinct and perfect panorama of the moon-like curved beach of Mueang Pattaya Bay. Therefore, the top of Phra Tamnak has become popular and is one of the places that must be visited when traveling in Mueang Pattaya. If you want to take a beautiful picture as a commemoration that you have been to Muaeng Pattaya, this is one of the highlights that you should not miss.

8. Khao Chi Chan

     Khao Chi Chan is a famous place as it features a giant sculptural image of Lord Buddha erected on the giant cliff. It was built 1995 as initiative from then Supreme Patriarch who felt it’s such a waste to let these marble mountains were destroyed so he ordered to create the giant Buddha image on the cliff that was cut half already. It was also built to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee.

9. Sanctuary of Truth

     The Sanctuary of Truth receives The Tourism Authority of Thailand's high regard as “the magestic wooden castle at the horizon." From the base to the top, every elements of the castle is all made of wood, without the use of a single nail.

     Before you get into the castle, there is a viewpoint where you can see the entire castle floating from the sea. Around the castle are beautiful gardens, woodcarving workshop and souvenir shops. A tour guide will be provided to explain to you about the castle for about 20 minutes and then you’ll be free to view the castle and take photos.

     Moral is reflected from beatiful woodcarving at the sky high as if created by a goddess The Sanctuary of Truth Museum : Located on the beachfront on Ratchavete Cape, Nakluea Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province, the woodcarving castle features an eye-catchinh pagoda-shaped structure on the top. if you look from afar, you will see as if the castle is ascending from the sea. Between the sea and the castle, there is a fence to protect the heavenly castle. It’s the work of arts by Thai craftmen and artisans in the reign of King Rama 9. With the experience in the construction of the Ancient City and in-depth study of art, the architectural team has successfully materialized the imagination into the spectacular castle. The concept is to have the entire castle made from different kinds of wood as the value and beauty of the wood remains.

10. Walking Street Pattaya

     Walking Street Pattaya is probably the most exciting street in the world if you like to have fun. Here you will find all kinds of entertainment, from bars, discos, gogo-bars, cabaret shows and much much more.

     Walking down Walking Street from Beach Road to Bali Hai Pier is an experience you will never forget. The Walking Street is closed for traffic from 19:00 until 03:00. You can chose from a wide variety of sea-food restaurants to Indian, Italian, European, Thai or many other countries. You will also find many discos and the largest ones are Candy Shop, Lucifer, Marine Disco, Insomnia, Tony's and Mixx.
